My iMac (Not sure which year, but I hear it's about 9 years old) stopped booting up properly (It was in version 10.10, Yosemite), as in the progress bar would not go to 100% and crashed about a third of the way. I booted up Ubuntu 18.04 to try and save some files, then one day I pressed option to boot it up, I went away for a second, and the Macintosh HD and Recovery options were no longer there. I thought it was nothing, so I booted up Ubuntu, I looked for the hard drive, but I couldn't find it. I restarted time and time again, to no avail. I tried cmd+r, cmd+alt+r and anything else I could find on the internet. I thought it was over and tried to install Ubuntu on the hard drive, but I still couldn't find it. I would really appreciate any tips to fix my computer. Thank you.
